Osage Orange (or Bodark as we call it in the Ozark Mountains) is a gauge you can spot across the shop. The unique yellowish tint of the wood creates a stand out and unique look. This wood is very dense and holds a very nice polish. It tends to turn a dark brown if left in sunlight.
Exquisite to use and to hold. My favorite marking gauge, now!!!
After a month of use, I am quite satisfied with the gauge. It is designed beautifully and works wonderfully.

An awesome gauge. I have tried most gauges with some frustration. This little jewel is worth her weight in gold. AND it's still made in America!
